Questions parents ask us
Still unsure about something? Email info@gardenvista.sbs and a person will answer.
What do we need to join a session?
A laptop or tablet with a camera, headphones, and a stable internet connection. We email a short materials list before each project week so you can use everyday household items.
Are the classes really live?
Yes. Every session is taught live by a GardenVista educator in groups of up to six learners. We do not sell pre-recorded courses.
Who teaches the sessions?
Educators with classroom or tutoring experience who complete a background check, a child-safeguarding orientation, and a teaching trial before working with learners.
How do you protect my child's privacy?
A parent or guardian creates and controls the account. We collect only what is needed to run the session, we never sell personal information, and we do not use children's information for advertising. See our Children's Privacy / COPPA Notice for details.
Can my child chat with other students?
There is no open chat, no public profile, and no way for learners to post photos, video, or contact details. In-session chat is teacher-moderated and limited to the class.
Can I watch a session?
Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome in any session and can request to sit in at any time.
Can we pause, switch, or cancel?
Yes. Plans are month to month. You can change tracks, pause, or cancel from your account or by emailing us. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for timing.
What if we miss a class?
Tell us at least 12 hours ahead and we will move your child into another group that week where space allows.
