This Privacy Policy explains how GardenVista LLC ("GardenVista", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit our website or enroll a child in our live online classes. Information about children under 13 is covered in more detail in our Children's Privacy / COPPA Notice.

Information we collect

• Parent or guardian details you provide: name, email address, phone number, and billing contact information.
• Limited learner details: the child's first name and age, plus any learning notes the guardian chooses to share so we can place the child in a suitable group.
• Session records: attendance and short teacher notes about progress, shared with the guardian.
• Technical data: basic website and connection information needed to operate and secure the site.

We do not require a home address, school name, photographs, or voice or video recordings of a child in order to enroll.

How we use information

• To schedule, deliver, and improve live educational sessions.
• To communicate with the parent or guardian about enrollment, billing, and class logistics.
• To handle support requests, refunds, and safety concerns.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use children's personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate — for example our payment processor, email provider, and video-class platform — and only to the extent needed to perform that service. Those providers are bound by contract to protect the information and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety of a child.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that limit staff access to what their role requires, and vendor review for the services we rely on. Payment card information is handled by our payment provider; GardenVista never stores raw card numbers. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and we will notify affected guardians promptly if a breach affects their information.

Retention and deletion

We keep enrollment and session records while the account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then delete or anonymize them, except where tax or legal rules require a longer period for billing records. A guardian may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your choices

Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their own or their child's information, and may withdraw consent to further collection. Email info@gardenvista.sbs with the subject "Parent Privacy Request". We verify the requester is the account guardian before acting.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep the site working and secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will post the updated version here and email account guardians before the change takes effect.
